Now through January, the Idaho Botanical Gardens also offers delicious holiday snacks and drinks, a Holiday Express model train, and Santa and new attractions like the Treehouse and Enchanted Forest! Downtown Boise Holiday Tree
One of the most recognizable parts of Christmas in Boise is the city’s Giving Tree. Located in The Grove Plaza, this wonderful Christmas tree serves as not only a beautifully-lit spectacle to enjoy with family, but also to remind us of what the true spirit of the holiday is. As they say, it’s better to give than receive, and this city staple helps make that happen for an important cause.
The Giving Tree is decorated with gift tags. Each of these tags contains a donation wish from the Women’s and Children’s Alliance. Scentsy Commons Christmas Lights
If bright and plentiful Christmas lights are your thing, then you cannot miss out on this year’s Scentsy Commons Christmas Lights display! They’ve gone all-out to decorate over 450 trees in beautiful holiday lights stretching more than 43 miles. It’s truly a sight to behold!

Saturday mornings are for sleeping in, but not during the Boise area’s best holiday farmer’s market. The Capital City Public Market offers the best winter produce, wines and cheeses, holiday desserts, and handmade holiday crafts in Meridian and Boise.
