Rosé Soiree and Concert
Where: Ste. Chapelle Vineyard Park
When: Sunday, May 26, 2019 (12 PM – 4:30 PM)
There are plenty of ways you can choose to spend your weekend for Memorial Day in Caldwell, but what can beat a relaxing day of wine and food at a local vineyard? Ste Chapelle Vineyard is kicking off their first annual Concert in the Park featuring live music from the Synergy Jazz Combo.
Choose from a selection of locally produced rosé and white wines, and enjoy lunch from the Sushi Shack. A portion of all proceeds are to be donated to River Discovery who offer outdoor adventures to cancer survivors, so stop by for a good time and to support a great cause.

Boise Dog Carnival
OK, so Boise’s not Caldwell…we know! we know! But no matter where you live in the Treasure Valley, it’s worth the drive to this dog-friendly Memorial Day event!
Where: Julia Davis Park Bandshell – Boise
When: Saturday, May 25 (9 AM – 3 PM)
This Memorial Day in Caldwell, bring your furry friend to the Boise Dog Carnival in Julia Davis Park for some shaggy shenanigans and other carnival fun. Enter your dog in one of the fun events, competitions, or the dog parade. There are prizes for the top competitor of each event!
There will be training demonstrations, a trick competition, and even a visit from the Boise Police Department’s K-9 unit showing how they handle bomb threats. There will also be vendors, food trucks, games, and other fun carnival activities.

Mustache Memorial Ride
Where: 6th & Main St., Downtown Boise
When: Saturday, May 25, 2019 (12 PM – 7 PM)
This incredibly festive event for Memorial Day in Boise has so much to offer! The 10th anniversary of the Mustache Memorial Ride features a bike ride through downtown Boise along with a costume contest that must feature a killer mustache. Be sure to go all out though, because the competition gets more fierce every year.
Local craft beer will be available along with food trucks, raffles, and much more. The best part is that all of the money that’s raised will be donated to the Idaho Fallen Firefighter Foundation to support those who have sacrificed so much. Check-in for the bike ride is at 12 PM, and the event itself will begin at 2 PM.

Memorial Day Ceremony
Where: Idaho State Veterans Cemetary
When: Monday, May 27, 2019 (10 AM – 11 AM)
There’s nothing wrong with spending your Memorial Day weekend relaxing and enjoying yourself, but the real meaning of the holiday is to honor all of those who have fought and sacrificed everything for our freedoms. What better way to honor them than by attending this remembrance ceremony in Boise.
The impact of attending this event at the Veterans Cemetary is powerful, and it truly helps all those in attendance to understand just how grateful we should be for the brave men and women of our armed forces.
