  • Wash hands thoroughly before and after service is performed
  • No person-to-person contact by keeping a 6-foot personal distance
  • Disinfect tools, computers, and equipment before and after every repair
  • Wipe down & disinfect all surfaces including appliances, counters, and sinks

*Fully vaccinated technicians are available at your request. Just let us know if this is your preference when scheduling your appointment.

And as a final measure, all receipts for service will be delivered electronically via email. You can rest easy knowing that our technicians will take every precaution to ensure safe service and a long-lasting repair.

Coronavirus Appliance Safety Guide

Even if your home appliances are running smoothly, there are some health and safety tips you should follow to reduce the risk of infection.

Food Safety
Contaminated food is a common concern during the COVID-19 outbreak. Is it possible to contract the illness from food or food packaging? Luckily, the answer is no, but you can never be too safe. While no reported cases of coronavirus have been transmitted via food, you should still follow some basic protocols.

Follow the well-known food safety guidelines that you would normally adhere to; wash your hands thoroughly before handling food, clean and disinfect cooking surfaces, and avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth. We also recommend that you clean inside your refrigerator as an additional precaution.

Clothing & Laundry Safety
Unlike food, there’s evidence that the coronavirus can live and be transferred on clothing. The key is to treat your clothes like your skin by washing and disinfecting them as needed.

Any new clothing you purchase should be washed per the manufacturer’s recommendations. They’ve been handled during production and shipping and also could have been purchased and returned already. You should disinfect your hamper or laundry basket as well between loads as an additional safety measure.

There are also several effective methods for disinfecting clothes that you can follow. Soaking items in bleach will do the trick, or try a mixture of borax and hydrogen peroxide for garments that can’t be bleached.

Dishwashing Safety
Anything that you come into direct contact with can potentially transfer the COVID-19 virus, and that includes dishes and dishwashing items. Start by putting your dirty dishes into your dishwasher right after use. Letting them linger in the sink can allow the virus to spread if present.

Wash your hands thoroughly before and after washing dishes. Disinfect your sink and kitchen counter regularly, and be sure to avoid using the same dishrag more than once.

And last but not least, sanitize your dishes as a final preventative measure. There are a few different methods for sanitizing dishes, but the easiest is to use your dishwasher’s sanitize. If your model doesn’t have this feature, you can soak dishes in a chlorine bleach solution, or soak them in hot water over 170°F for at least 30 seconds.
