Watching fireworks on the Fourth of July is a staple of American culture! In fact, the first 4th of July fireworks show happened in 1777, one year after the Declaration of Independence was signed.
If you want to continue this time-honored tradition, there’s only one thing to do: go watch some fireworks! Whether you’re in Boise, Eagle, Nampa, Meridian, Caldwell, or any surrounding areas, we’ve found the best spots to watch the fireworks in Boise in 2019. This year, the Fourth of July falls on a Wednesday, but that won’t stop our beloved city from celebrating!

Boise – CANCELLED FOR 2020
One of the best places to watch 4th of July fireworks in Boiseis at Ann Morrison Park. A fabulous display will cap off an evening of fun, food, and beverages. Food and beverage sales start at 6:00 pm on July 4th. Make it an all-day event by floating the river in the morning and taking your raft out at Ann Morrison Park. This is the 13th annual fireworks show in Boise put on by K-HITS radio station – and it’s sure to be a hit!

Meridian
Storey Park will be hosting a modified version of its annual Independence Day Festival again this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This is still the perfect spot if you’re searching for where to watch fireworks in Meridian though. The pre-fireworks show activities have been canceled, but the fireworks show will go on! The event will begin at dusk, so show up and pick the perfect viewing spot before the festivities begin.
If you want to see the fireworks show from a little closer, head over to the Meridian Speedway for front row seats.

Caldwell
Caldwell will have another epic 4th of July celebration this year, although the annual parade and other activities will not be taking place. The good news is that the fireworks spectacular will go on! Those who attend the even at Brothers park are encouraged to maintain social distancing with 6 feet of distance between groups. And if safety is a concern, feel free to stay in, barbecue, and enjoy the fireworks from the comfort of your own home.
