Santa’s Train Shop / Minnesota Transportation Museum

Looking for where to take photos with Santa in Minneapolis in 2021? The Minnesota Transportation Museum is fun for kids and adults alike. Santa’s Train Shop will feature live music, activities, train rides, pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus, and lots of museum fun.

The North Pole Express

If your little one loves trains, then this is where to take pictures with Santa in Minneapolis. This historic steam train will take you on a 1-mile journey to the North Pole, during which your child is invited to write a letter to Santa.

Upon arrival, Santa will board the train as a fellow passenger to collect the letters, sit for pictures, and ride back to the station for a holiday treat and activities.

Santa’s Workshop at the Landmark Center

While the Landmark Center hosts a free event every Sunday, this one is all about St. Nick. The historic building’s majestic lobby provides a beautiful backdrop for where to see Santa in Minneapolis and take some photos. We recommend staying longer to enjoy the crafting stations and games.
